Re: Killington made a serious F&#K up on 365 pass billing.
We have been reimbursed in full. Killington screwed up, admitted it apologetically and emphatically and did the right thing to correct it and maintain our customer satisfaction and loyalty. There is not much more you can ask of an organization. All is forgiven.

Re: Killington made a serious F&#K up on 365 pass billing.
I got hit for 23 extra charges. My daughter's 365 pass only got charged once. They said we would get reimbursed by today with a written explanation of what happened. we got neither. This is clearly breach of contract and I assume laws are being broken. I think a call to the VT AG Public Protection O...

Re: Saturday 2/17/18
People were skiing lower O all day, but it never did open. Probably was great.

Re: Speed Control at Killington
Speed Control Officials are out on the mountain carrying scanners. The pussifucation of the beast has begun. So on a day when the lines are out the corrals, the slopes are jammed, and cars parked way down the Access Road you're whining that you can't ski as recklessly as you want? You sound like a ...

Re: Vertigo Ice Cone
Oh so it’s only that it is man made that makes it bad. Gotcha. That’s entirely different. My apologies. Then I would also like to complain about the half pipe. It is 2 feet too tall for me and way too icy. 2 of the Dream Maker jumps are too big. They need to shorten the gap. And OMG 2 of the ramps u...

Re: Vertigo Ice Cone
My point is that some snowmaker forgot about the gun he set up on Vertigo and he created a man made disaster (to borrow a spineless Obama term). The result is a very challenging enterance into lower vert which some herb (like WoodyRider) could easily get hurt on. Why not do something about it inste...

Re: Vertigo Ice Cone
Is Vertigo somehow again open .. Have never considered that an imperative descent here. It's OK 8) There are plenty other steep bump shots without disjointed crossovers. A high percentage of core shots occur at the rock bar entrances there. The cone may signify a gathering spot you wanderin...

Re: Killington's Impending Infrastructure Collapse
I have not been on a single K1 ride where a customer said "These cabins suck". But almost every ride I hear "This lift sucks". I do not think that the cabins needs replacing, it is the mechanisms for opening/closing the doors that are a contributor to the frequent stops in nice ...

Re: Killington's Impending Infrastructure Collapse
Zero chance. They just put in a new loading platform at the bottom that would need to be completely redone as new cabins would have to be level boarding and ADA compliant. The K1 cabins are in really rough shape due to how many hours that lift has. The Skyeship is older but the cabins are in better...

Re: thursday 2/8/2018
Amazing day. 1st tracks down Big Dipper again. Then into the woods with fresh all morning long. By early afternoon it was off to the hidden stashes where I found waist deep untracked snow. Spectacular ride. I should mention, be careful in the back country at lower elevations. Very unstable snow. Avo...
