Indeed, quite chilly out there again. There is some wind at 2200 feet, but not blowing crazy.

Skiing yesterday was great. Amazing recovery this week. Some of the steeper tree runs were ok but not great. The lower angle tries skied very well. Had a bit of upslope snow yesterday morning that really freshened things up.

Should be another fine day at the Mighty Killington.

Come get some.

a good day. spent most of the morning on the east side. groomers skied well. bumps on trails like thimble were very manly. surprised to find roundabout groomed. afternoon mostly trees. agree with the kool-aid kid's assessment - low angle trees skied rather well, steeper not as well. breakaway skied nicely but seemed like it was also recently groomed.

We skied the groomers until we tried one tree run and after that it was trees all the way. Some were ski very fast but others had some snow to work with. Lower Ovation was opened but with not fun to ski it. Didn't get to Snowden or South Ridge. Plan on skiing that tomorrow.

FIRM yesterday. Some woods had 2-4" to play with but that was few and far between. Lower O was sketchy at best. Skiiers right line was more ice than snow. Add in the rocks and I could have used an ice axe. I can't believe it was open to the public. They groomed Jug and Breakaway as well. Skiied real nice though, small bumps forming already.

There is a TON of snow on the mountain. Valley plunge even has full cover to the lowest cutoff I've seen used in years. And they plan to close half the mountain in two weeks. WTF

Hadn't been up to K in 5 weeks. Skied Sat / Sun. Couldn't believe the snow coverage on the Mtn for this time of year. Most I've seen in a long time.
