Loon has a major crowd/lift line problem on the weekends. At K you can definitely spread out even on weekends. Loon attracts the "entitled yuppie crowd" Killington has good mix of ski bums, retired etc. I think K people are a little smarter.
I agree, the mix at Killington is way better than Loon all the way around, better everything.

Smarter how?

Don't forget that K has been charging for Bay 1 & 2 parking for some time now.

Have a full boat pass but mainly ski mid-week. Always buy the Bay 1 pass because friends visit on weekends/holidays and they usually can’t motivate to make first chair, though they’re really good at making last beer.

I’m not particularly price sensitive when it comes to skiing, but like many others, found today's BeFast email offer somewhat annoying.

K people are smarter because of their taste and choice to ski K over Loon.

That too. I doubt anybody here would pay. The breakfast pass sounds like A better idea.

Any chance they'll make one of the benefits of this pass early access to the glades or The Outer Limits. For that I would pay the $400 they are asking.

Yes and you also get access to the new, secret SRT.

It's a really obnoxious concept. If I pay for a lift ticket (single day, express, blackout, season), I deserve the same access to the lift as anyone else. If they offered it as a loyalty perk to only pass holders I would understand. Charging extra just creates an obvious and in-your-face elites-only line. How about giving the rest of us a reduced cost pass for the extra time we will now have to wait for the elites to ride first?

Didn't like it when they had something similar a few years back, and don't like it now. Really does not impact me as I have a midweek pass, but if I had a an unlimited, I would not spend another 200 for it. I too think it is going to cause problems on the lift lines.

It is actually rude to ask those of us who are loyal-paying and returning bread and butter customers for more cash. There should be a pass holder line already as part of buying one!

Huh? There are hundreds of incredibly affluent metro-New Yorkers with vacation homes at Killington.
