Jay Peak just won’t quit on this season, and we’re glad to see it happen!

A lot of people speculated that Jay’s bonus weekend on May 7th and May 8th might be it for this year, but the mountain just announced minutes ago that they’re planning to open on Saturday, May 14th!!

I’m so damn proud to call myself an East Coast skier.

We catch a lot of flak for riding ice on a regular basis, but could those pansy west coast and Rockies elite ever be good enough to ski the line u/NewSessionWen does in the video below? I think not.

He’s skiing down an open trail at Jay Peak, VT during closing day. His ability to keep his line going despite the lack of snow was epic.
