What did they screw up this time? They'd better be open by Friday or they will not only lose to Sunday River, but likely multiple resorts that are not traditionally early openers.

what the hell do you mean "What did they screw up this time?" - they ran as long and as hard as they could. obviously there's a difference between running the red sluts as opposed to the hogs. most here understand that. many have clamored for them to upgrade their arsenal and for better or worse, that's what they've done. i'm sure they'll crank the hogs where and when needed. their "goal" is thursday and last i checked it's sunday. chill ...

I will concede that this is their first opportunity to open and stay open, and that any attempt earlier would not have been continuous operation. I wanted to see them compete with Sunday River for bragging rights, and I was, and still am pissed that they didn't. I'm skeptical about snowmaking efforts given the last 3 years. I hope they can turn things around.

Why do their bragging rights mean so much to you?
