Don't worry, people will lose their collective minds if they shut down some of the public snowmaking capacity to start making snow on Skyelark for the WC

Yup, and Snoloco, K bested SR this go around. Skiing off the K1 into North Ridge with at least 1.5 routes over off the Quad and one way stair traffic beats just T2 and the midstation downloading fiasco on Locke any day. But keep whining away on K.....

The reason for that post was that it appeared there was disappointing production overnight, so I was wondering if there was a pipe blowout or other mechanical failure. It turned out to just be the weather. I have to work, so I won't be there on day 1, but I'm definitely going this weekend. I'm excited to get the season underway.

Man Up! After your constant barrage of complaints and unwarranted criticism, to mirror Big Bob, now you’ll be the boy who cried wolf, now you won’t be there.? Really?

I am sure Mike was shaking in his boots. Sunday River will reopen at about the same time, butt already had day one on Halloween, so the race is already over. The weather window was not wide enough for the River to open at Jordon as originally planned, so they opted for plan B. Mother Nature is what she is, hopefully things will change later this month. I have seen long range forecasts all over the place for temperatures and precipitation. Areas to the south have to mindful of their water use for snowmaking or they will run out. Won't matter if the cold comes without water. I assume Killington's supply is solid. Brush fires in New York City is not something I have ever seen before.
