the "blues breakers" and "hard road" were watershed blues albums featuring eric clapton and peter green respectively. mick taylor followed them w harvey mandel later. definitely a who's who in blues guitarists. perhaps my favorite was "turning point" where he went acoustic featuring a sax/flute and no drums which i saw at the fillmore east. a rather daring approach to the blues at the time when screaming guitar was the norm. next band featured violin. definitely an innovator. r.i.p.

everything you like that was made in the 60s and 70s can be traced back to this dude... Legend no doubt.
