Loaded Turkey Rail Jam!

Was mellower than expected. Couple of hours.
10-12

RoTD lower part of reason. Everything you would expect to ski on the east coast. Variable.

Bars were very empty.

Once the fog lifted, went up for a half a dozen runs. First day of the year for me. I was shocked at how thin it was and how much dirt was poking through. Honestly Killington should be embarrassed by how poor the offering is.

With that said I enjoyed getting out there and dusting off the ski legs, but even knowing it was not TTB, I was shocked at the conditions of what was open.

Did my one walk up the steps of the year, thought about grabbing a late lunch but decided to pass on the $26.50 burger at the peak lodge.

Damn right! Whoever came up with this policy deserves to be fired now! We've gone from the place where everybody knows your name (Mahogany Ridge) to the place where nobody wants to go (Newark airport terminal C).

The access road bars need to bring back HH and free/cheap wings.

I don't think happy hour is legal in Vermont.
